Tanzania Camping Safaris

DAY 01: ARUSHA - NGORONGORO CRATER
Leave Arusha in the morning and proceed to Ngorongoro arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the crater. Dinner and overnight at campsite, L,D.

The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder.

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The main attraction here is the tree climbing lions. The park is small in size but the terrain is diverse. The vegetation comprises of ground water forest, open grassland, swamp and acacia woodland with giant mahogany and fig trees. The park is home to a wide variety of mammals and birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Camp.

DAY: 1 ARUSHA - LAKE MANYARA
Our first day starts early in the morning. After breakfast we pick you up at your hotel in Arusha. We're on the way to Lake Manyara. The national park is a lovely location; a thin green band of forest, flanked on one side by the cliffs of the Rift Valley Wall, on the other by the shores of the ancient soda lake. Wildlife here is very diverse. We'll see many baboons and if we're lucky - the famous tree-climbing lion. Lake Manyara is also one of the finest parks for bird lovers. In the afternoon we'll drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight Campsite.

DAY 01: ARUSHA – MANYARA
Depart Arusha the morning for Lake Manyara arriving by lunch time. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a campsite, L,D.

DAY 02: MANYARA - NGORONGORO CRATER
After morning game drive in Lake Manyara proceed to the 'eight wonders of the world', the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and overnight at campsite, B,L,D.
