4 HRS NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
Nairobi National Park Kenya’s first ever National park is a unique and unspoilt wildlife haven within sight of the city’s skyline. Rhino, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, lion and plenty of antelopes and gazelles can be seen roaming in this open plains country with a section of highland forest as well as stretches of broken bush country, deep, rocky valleys and gorges with scrub and long grass. This Tour can be done in morning hours or afternoon hours.
1 HR NAIROBI SAFARI WALK
Located on the main gate of Nairobi National park, Its the Kenya’s new conservation based recreation facility. The combination of skilled and creative landscape design, unique wildlife species and detailed interpretation, renders the facility supremacy in tourism and conservation education.
The Nairobi Safari Walk is the eye opener to Kenya’s Parks and Reserves. It offers you an opportunity to learn what you expect to see across the country. Introductory talks on Kenya’s parks and reserves, can be arranged for you by the naturalists. You will have a taste of Kenya’s rich Animal collection including the rare bongo, white rhino, albino zebra, a collection of cats, antelopes and primates. NSW is also home to a collection of about 150 species of local trees. Get to learn their varied traditional uses too.
1 HR ANIMAL OPHANAGE
The Nairobi Animal Orphanage was opened to the public on 11th November 1963 for the purposes of hosting a collection of orphaned, hurt and abandoned wild animals from all over the country.
The facility hosts both indigenous and exotic wild animals within environmentally enriched enclosures. The composition depends on the rescued animal. You are likely to see: lions, hyena, leopard, cheetah, warthog, buffalo, different species of apes, guinea fowls, crested cranes among others. Some rare animals found within the facility are;
